Sprague is a town in New London County of Connecticut in the United States with 2984 inhabitants.
The municipality is named after William Sprague and consists of the three villages Baltic (seat of the town hall, ⊙ ), Hanover ( ⊙ ) and Versailles ( ⊙ ).

Population ratio
The last census in 2010 counted 2984 residents. There were a total of 1135 households, including 802 family households. The population density was 84 inhabitants per km². Of the population, 90.18% were European, 2.01% African and 1.11% Asian. A total of 26 people were Native American (American Indian and Inuit) and 100 people were of mixed backgrounds. Of the total population, 138 people were Hispanics / Latinos (4.62%).
Of the 802 family households, 357 were households with children under the age of 18. There were 595 two-parent households, 134 mother households and 73 fathers households. Of the 333 non-family households, 271 were households with a single person. The households had an average of 2.63 people, family households an average of 3.08 people.
Of the residents, 720 people (24.13%) were under 18 years of age and 330 people (11.06%) were 65 years of age or older. The mean age was 38.5 years. For every 100 women there were 97 men. In total there were 1515 female and 1469 male residents.
The household income was $ 43,125 and the family income was $ 57,500. The median income per capita was $ 20,796. About 2.2% of families and 6.4% of the population lived below the poverty line. Poverty hit 5.1% of minors and 17.8% of people 65 years of age or older.

Sports
There are softball and soccer fields. Other sports include canoeing, fishing, hiking and horse riding.
Regular events
The annual events include the RiverFest and the Three Villages Festival , which takes place in October in the Baltic district.
Economy and Infrastructure
There are no longer any major industrial establishments in Sprague. Ecotourism has been growing for several years . Tourism is aimed at water sports enthusiasts (canoeists and kayakers) and hikers.
Public facilities
There is a post office in each of the three villages. There is a fire station and a bicycle patrol in summer. There are also several Catholic, Congregational, Methodist and Mormon churches and an old people's home.
education
Sprague is home to Sayles Elementary School and St. Joseph's Grammar School, with classes from kindergarten through eighth grade. There is also the Academy of the Holy Family, a private girls' school for grades 9 to 12.
The Sprague Public Library holds around 10,000 media and is located in the historic Grist Mill building. In addition to lending media, the library organizes cinema evenings, discussion evenings and offers free internet.
