Attractions
The following are listed as architectural monuments (see list of architectural monuments in Oetzen # Stöcken ):
- Chapel (Im Dorfe 1): The rectangular, white-painted Gothic field and brick building probably dates from the 15th century. The bell tower in the west is lower than the steep gable roof . The simple pulpit dates from 1684.
The painted wooden ceiling is dated to 1499 by an inscription. It is an important and rare example of a painted Gothic wooden ceiling . It is divided by strips into narrow fields running in an east-west direction. There are very imaginatively varied ornamental strips, which are mainly made of foliage . On the east side at the ends of the fields there is openwork fish bubble tracery .
