East facade

The two lower floors of the bell tower go back to the original Romanesque building. Two sturdy buttresses emerge on the east and west façades, which demarcate the main nave from the two aisles. The side aisles were probably added in the 13th century; further modifications were made in the 14th and 15th centuries. A large gable roof spans all three aisles.

A transept and a straight choir adjoin the three-aisled nave in the east . The interior is structured by arched arcades supported by square pillars with battlement plates . Only the eastern yoke of the central nave still has a Romanesque barrel vault . The vaults of the other yokes were renewed in the Gothic period.

lobby

To the west of the church is a vestibule that extends over the entire width of the nave. It is broken up by eleven arcades and covered by a pent roof. In the middle, opposite the portal of the church, as well as on the two narrow sides in the north and south, a round-arched, unadorned passage leads into the vestibule. To the left of the central entrance there are six arcades that rest on five columns. On the right side, four columns support five arcades. The wedges of the arches are carefully carved. The monolithic columns have bases with round bars and corner leaves . The capitals are decorated with stylized foliage. The tips of the leaves are partially rolled into balls, and some depict human heads.
