The St. Agatha Church is a Protestant church in Theilenhofen in the Middle Franconian district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen in the Baroque style. The church has the address Kirchenweg 1 .

Little is known about the previous church. It is said to have been built over a Roman watchtower . The year 1422, which is carved into the southeast corner of the church tower at a height of 3 m, is possibly the date of construction of the church. The church was probably a branch church of the parish of Alesheim . The four- story choir tower with a pointed helmet comes from the previous building; the nave from the new building in 1772. The altar painting from 1666 shows the resurrection of Jesus Christ . The pulpit body dates from 1666, the sound cover from the 18th century. The last major renovation of the church took place from 1980 to 1984.

The coats of arms of the marshals of Pappenheim are placed above the choir arch and altar extension . On a rectangular plate from the year 1712, a pastor planted seeds in a field. The churchyard is surrounded by a medieval wall, which was partly built from stones from Roman buildings. In the churchyard there is a grave monument from 1799 with a pyramid-shaped stump on a round base.

Since 2003, Theilenhofen has formed a parish association together with the parishes of Dornhausen , Gundelsheim , Wachenhofen and Wachstein . He belongs to the dean's office Gunzenhausen in the parish of Ansbach-Würzburg of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bavaria .
