Vacation pastoral care
The dean's office in Gunzenhausen operates holiday pastoral care . At the Altmühlsee , the Großer and the Kleiner Brombachsee , pastors from all over Germany , who go on vacation there and are employed by the deanery for a limited period, celebrate open-air services for vacationers and locals in the summer months . The deanery has built so-called shepherd car churches for the holiday pastoral care . There are a total of three of these shepherd's wagons , in which worship items are stored, in the deanery. These are used at the open-air worship services at the three lakes.
Church work
The dean's office has been running a youth center on Brombachsee in Ramsberg for a long time .
A total of 25 trumpet choirs from the parishes are active in the deanery . (As of 2010)
There are regular services for women . The parishes of the deanery take turns holding women's services.
partnership
At the meeting of the Dean's Synod in October 2010, a partnership with the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Malaysia and Singapore was decided with 96% of the votes . Another partnership was agreed with the Selangor district .
