View of the altar

A church in Zirkow was first mentioned in a document in 1313; it is the predecessor of today's church, which was built in the first half of the 15th century; the year 1417 is carved into a vaulted cap, together with the name Bartholomäus Blome, possibly the master craftsman.

In 1906 the church was repaired. In 2007, the sound doors on the tower were renewed and the church tower was secured and grouted on the outside.
