Before the construction of today's St. Giles Church there was a chapel in the village, in which new altars were consecrated in 1585.

In its current form, the St. Giles Church, whose steeple was built around 1650, was built in 1870 with the construction of the neo-Romanesque nave .

The sacristy is located on the south side of the church tower.

Furnishing

The organ was created in the 18th century by the Würzburg organ builder Johann Ignaz Samuel Will.
