history

The house of God was built in 1910 on the grounds of two previous buildings from the 12th and 17th centuries. The church registers say that the early church was almost in the same place. At the beginning of the 17th century the structural condition of the early church was so bad that it was completely renovated in 1608. In the external architectural style it resembled the current church . In 1720 the main portal was renewed and in 1752 a new high altar was installed. In 1895 a new organ was purchased.

The new church building

In 1908 it was decided to build a new church. The reason was the strongly increased population. With the building permit, conditions were consequently issued to preserve the art treasures. So found wing and high altar, baptismal font , chair cheeks and other items, probably the organ back their place in the new church.

The church tower with its cross and the weather vane towers over all buildings in the village.
