St. Justina is the most northern part of the municipality of Bolzano situated hamlet and part of the cadastral Zwölfmalgreien . It is located on the lower slope of the Rittner Berg at the transition from the Eisack valley to the Bozen basin. It is bounded to the west by the Rivelaunbach , to the east by the Bozen Leitach , to the north by the municipality of Ritten .

The widely scattered settlement takes its name from the old ecclesiastical center St. Justina in Prazöll , a building attested to since the early 13th century. The location is first documented in 1226, when Bishop Gerhard von Trient gave up three farms with viticulture "in loco de sancta Justina" on loan. In the district court order of Gries-Bozen from 1487, Ulrich Zwigkh appears as his own district captain "zu sand Justein" , who also functions as the sovereign tax collector .

St. Justina includes numerous individual houses and wine yards , including Pitsch am Bach, Schwar (Loacker), Stieler, Weißmann, Braun, Publitsch, Obergansner, Stockhammer and Waldgries .

The painter Albin Egger-Lienz, who lived here, died in Villa Grünwald in 1926 .
