description

There was a chapel as early as 1302 . In 1391 it was replaced by a new, simple, rectangular hall church which, according to old reports, had small arched windows . Only later did the little church have a church tower . After being destroyed several times by fires, the church, which was felt to be too small, was demolished. A new building could not be built until 1842. The former choir in the west was preserved, it now serves as a winter church, and the tower above was not demolished, but increased by one storey for the belfry to accommodate the two bells . The church furnishings include a cross, created by Elly-Viola Nahmmacher , which hangs over the altar. The organ with eleven registers , divided into a manual and a pedal , was built around 1850 by an unknown organ builder .
