St. Margareta (Unterbaar)
The Catholic branch church of St. Margareta in Unterbaar , a district of the municipality of Baar in the Swabian district of Aichach-Friedberg in Bavaria , was built in 1727 under Franz Marquard Schenk von Castell as the church of the castle . It is on Hauptstraße 18b and is a protected monument .
The flat-roofed hall with retracted choir is dedicated to St. Margaret of Antioch . It has an eastern tower with a curved tent roof , the west wall of which is supported by a pillar standing freely in the choir and the east wall of which sits on a rectangular choir niche.
The high altar was built around 1700 and the side altars in the second half of the 18th century.
