St. Michael (Affing)
The Catholic Chapel of St. Michael in Affing , a municipality in the Swabian district of Aichach-Friedberg , was built in 1698. The chapel to the north of the parish church Zu den Sieben Zufluchten , at Schlossplatz 8, is a protected monument .
architecture
The chapel, consecrated to the Archangel Michael , is a single-nave building facing west. It is covered by a barrel vault with stitch caps . Above the semicircular end there is a square tower with a pointed hood .
The stucco comes from the time the chapel was built. On the ceiling painting from 1698 St. Michael depicted overthrowing Lucifer .
