history

In 1756 the baroque parish church of St. Nicholas was built with the incorporation of the church tower from the 12th century of a previous church. The octagonal slate helmet was put on in 1900. 1999–2000 the church was renovated again.

Above the ground floor hall of the tower, the barrel vault with large round arches is open to the ship . The organ is located there . The nave is vaulted with four buttresses. The late Gothic altar shrine from 1475 depicts the Passion of Christ. A crescent moon Madonna from 1800 is located on the choir wall. The font dates from 1723, an epitaph on the south wall of the choir from the 17th century. Mary and Nicholas statues are in the chancel. The five choir windows with motifs from the apocalypse were designed by Christof Grüger in 1962 .
