St. Petrus (Tegernbach)
The Catholic branch church St. Petrus in Tegernbach , a district of the municipality of Taufkirchen in the Upper Bavarian district of Erding , was built in 1729. The baroque church is a protected architectural monument .
description
The hall building with the slightly retracted apse , attached sacristy and onion dome is the last work of the Erdingen master builder Anton Kogler . The facade is structured by pilasters . A needle cap barrel over pilasters covers the interior.
A ceiling and wall painting by Franz Albert Aiglsdorfer from 1739 depicts the legend of Peter and Sebastian .
The pulpit with twisted columns is from around 1710. The neo-Romanesque high altar was made in 1865.
