The Catholic parish church of St. Vitus in Göbelsbach , a district of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm in the district of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm in the Bavarian administrative district of Upper Bavaria, is located near Dorfstrasse. The church consecrated to St. Vitus is a protected architectural monument .

description

The plastered hall church with a steep gable roof , recessed and rectangular chancel has a choir flank tower with a stepped gable on the north side. The nave is covered by a barrel cap and the choir with a cross vault. The tower and choir were built in 1430, the nave from 1713 was extended to the west in 1922.

The three altars date from the second half of the 17th century. On the northern side altar stands a radiant crescent Madonna , which was created around 1520. On the choir wall is a crowned Madonna with baby Jesus from the 17th century.

The pulpit with statuettes of the evangelists was built around 1700.
