The Catholic parish church of St. Martin in Walkersbach , a district of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm in the district of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm in the Bavarian administrative district of Upper Bavaria , is essentially late Romanesque . The church on Kirchberg 2, consecrated to St. Martin , is a protected architectural monument .

description

The plastered saddle roof building with arched frieze , choir tower with pointed helmet and eastern sacristy extension has a flat-roofed nave and a choir with star vaults . The late Gothic choir dates from the second half of the 15th century. The church was changed in the 18th century.

The rich features of the Rococo with three altars dating back to the third quarter of the 18th century. In the high altar there are late Gothic figures of St. Wolfgang and St. Nicholas . The pulpit was created around 1700. The cheeks and the choir screen are decorated with rich Rocailles carving.
