Visitation of the Virgin Mary (Euernbach)
The Catholic parish church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary in Euernbach , a district of the municipality of Scheyern in the Upper Bavarian district of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm , was built around 1430. The late Gothic church at Pfaffenhofener Straße 14 is a protected monument .
description
The plastered hall church with polygonal choir closure and northern choir flank tower with stepped gable was extended around 1500. The nave and the choir have a reticulated vault . The north side of the nave is arched by connected wall pillar divided.
Furnishing
In the neo-Gothic altar there are carved figures from the beginning of the 16th century: Our Lady , Saint Wolfgang , Saint Barbara and Saint Catherine . The relief on the people's altar (around 1600), the flight to Egypt . In the sign there is a Mount of Olives , which is dated around 1600.
