Works

Spannring built their way of working on down-to-earth developments that go back to the Middle Ages. Ancient folk art and rural baroque inspired her to create her own creations. In particular , she created nativity scenes , nativity figures, saints in ceramics, some of which are privately owned and some in public and private museums. Starting in 1926, she created heads, hands and, in some cases, entire figures for Mozart's youthful work Apollo et Hyacinthus for Prof. Anton Aichers ' artist puppet theater .
