The StEG II 203 "–204" were tank locomotives of the Staats-Eisenbahn-Gesellschaft (StEG), a private Austrian-Hungarian railway company .

Two of these double-coupled locomotives were delivered by the Christian Hagans machine factory in Erfurt in 1884 . They had internal frames and external controls. Originally designed for the local railway Klein Schwechat - Mannersdorf provided they got in StEG which had acquired the local railway, the numbers 203-204 in understudy, since the vehicles that had those numbers previously provided by the kk Southeastern state railway coming SöStB - Gyula until Monostor had already been taken out of service. In the third scheme of the StEG, they were given the designation 20001–20002 in 1897.

After the nationalization of the StEG in 1909, the vehicles were given the numbers 283.01-02, but were soon retired.
