The stadium na Banovom brdu ( Serbian - Cyrillic Стадион на Бановом брду ; Serbian for "Stadium on Banovo brdo" or "Bans Hill") is a "pure" football stadium and home of FK Čukarički , a Serbian football club from Banovo brdo , a Part of the Belgrade district of Čukarica , which currently has 4,070  seats .

history

In the summer of 2012, the renovation of the stadium, built in 1969, and the club grounds began, which included new seats in the east stand . In the immediate vicinity, a training area with two auxiliary areas was built, both of which are covered with artificial turf . One square was built with the dimensions prescribed by UEFA and is equipped with several rows of seats on one side. There the home games of the youth teams are played, while the other one serves as a small field for the E and F youth . In addition, a new west grandstand was built and the parking spaces , boxes and changing rooms were renovated. In August 2013, new floodlights with a strength of 1400  lux were installed.

Future developments

Further renovations are planned at the stadium in order to meet the requirements of the Fudbalski savez Srbije (FSS), the Serbian Football Association, and the safety standards for national and international football events set by FIFA and UEFA as well as the UEFA stadium infrastructure regulations . The expansion of the west stand and the roofing of the east stand are planned after the stadium will eventually offer 8,000 seats. Furthermore, the construction of an office is planned under the east stand and the construction of apartments for the players in the immediate vicinity .
