The stadium kraj Morave ( Serbian - Cyrillic Стадион крај Мораве ; Serbian for "stadium next to the Morava ") is a "pure" football stadium and home of Borac Čačak , a Serbian football club from Čačak .
In 2011, renovations began on the stadium and the club premises, which had previously been carried out with interruptions in several phases. However, these have not yet been fully completed. The stadium, which is located near western Morava, will ultimately have a capacity of 8,000.
history
In 2011, the renovation of the stadium, which was built in 1958, and the club grounds began in order to meet the UEFA safety standards for national and international football events, which are to be carried out in several phases. The renovation is expected to cost around 3 million euros , provided by the city of Čačak and the Serbian state budget .
So far the east stand has been partially renovated. A north stand was also built, and behind it the club's office building, which also houses the new changing rooms and showers . Most of the west stand was also reconstructed. At the end of July 2014, new floodlight masts were also installed. However, the renovation was interrupted several times, so it has not yet been fully completed.
Others
When severe flooding and violent storms caused by the Yvette in the Balkans in May 2014 occurred in south-eastern and central-eastern Europe , the situation in Čačak was particularly critical. The stadium and the club grounds were flooded and damaged in the middle of the renovations.
