Stanisław Gębicki
Stanisław Gębicki (born July 8, 1945 in Witkowo , Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship ) is a Polish Roman Catholic clergyman and auxiliary bishop emeritus in Włocławek .
Life
The auxiliary bishop of Włocławek, Jan Zareba , ordained him as a priest on June 19, 1969 in the cathedral of Włocławek . From 1970, he completed postgraduate studies at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome , which he in 1979 after defending his dissertation on the subject of catechesis and theology of faith in the new Roman liturgy of adult baptism with the promotion of Dr. theol. completed.
Pope John Paul II appointed him on December 11, 1999 titular bishop of Thiges and auxiliary bishop in Włocławek. On July 8, 2020, Pope Francis accepted Stanisław Gębicki's resignation because of his age.
