Stanislaus von Chlapowski

Stanislaus von Chlapowski ( Polish Stanisław Chłapowski ; born August 12, 1822 in Posen , † October 1, 1902 in Szoldry near Schrimm , Posen) was an officer, manor owner and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Chlapowski attended high school in Poznan and then graduated from the combined artillery and engineering school in Berlin. He was the commander of Pope Pius IX. and artillery officer and owned the manor Szoldry.

Stanislaus von Chlapowski was a member of the North German Parliament from 1867 to 1871. From 1870 to 1888 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives . He was also a member of the Provincial Parliament of the Grand Duchy of Posen from 1852 to 1893. From 1887 he was a member of the Prussian First Chamber .

From 1881 to 1884 and from 1893 to 1898 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the Polish parliamentary group and the constituency of Posen 6 ( Fraustadt ).
