The action takes place after the events of the Star Wars film Return of the Jedi . Star Wars: Squadrons was announced in June 2020 . It should also be playable on PC and PS4 via virtual reality .
Gameplay and setting
The story takes place after the Battle of Endor and the destruction of the second Death Star ( Episode VI ). One pilot from a squadron of the New Republic and one of the Galactic Empire is controlled. The multiplayer includes dogfights of up to 10 players who compete in two groups against each other.
