Stari Bohorodtschany ( Ukrainian Старі Богородчани ; Russian Старые Богородчаны Staryje Bogorodtschany , Polish Bohorodczany Stare ) is a village in the Ukrainian Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast with about 3500 inhabitants (2001).
The first time in 1441 in writing mentioned village is the administrative center of the same name since 2015 existing, 84.33 square kilometers of land Municipality Stari Bohorodchany (Старобогородчанська сільська громада / Starobohorodtschanska silska hromada ) in the north of the Bohorodchany Raion with a total of 6,120 inhabitants that even the villages Hryniwka ( Гринівка , ⊙ ) with about 680 inhabitants Lessivka ( Лесівка , ⊙ ) with about 360 inhabitants Nywotschyn ( Нивочин , ⊙ ) with about 760 inhabitants Skobychivka ( Скобичівка , ⊙ ) with about 760 inhabitants.
The village is located in the east of the historical Galicia on the bank of the Bystryzja Solotvynska opposite the Bohorodchany district center and 20 km southwest of the Ivano-Frankivsk oblast center .
In the village there are three wooden, listed churches built between 1863 and 1926.
