Stari Slankamen ( Cyrillic  Стари Сланкамен , German  (outdated): Old Slankamen , Hungarian Szalánkemén , also Zalánkemén and Sztari Szlankamen , Turkish Salankamen ) is a village in the Opština Inđija , in the Serbian province of Vojvodina , in eastern Syrmia .

Stari Slankamen is located east-southeast of Novi Sad on the right bank of the Danube . Opposite the place the river Tisza flows into the Danube.

Slankamen means salt stone in German .
