Starytschi ( Ukrainian Старичі ; Russian Старичи Staritschi , Polish Starzyska ) is a village in the Ukrainian Lviv Oblast with about 3400 inhabitants (2001).
The village is the administrative center of the 23.53 km² district council of the same name in the center of Jaworiw Rajon , which also includes the neighboring village of Volja-Staryzka ( Воля-Старицька , ⊙ ) with about 280 inhabitants.
The village is located in the historical Galicia on the bank of the Tereshka ( Терешка ), a 10 km long right tributary of the Szkło , 3 km north of the urban-type Schklo settlement , about 20 km northeast of the Jaworiw district center and 44 km northwest of the Lviv oblast center . The east of Starychi is on the site of the Jaworiw military training area .
The village has a railway station (Schklo-Starschyska) on the Lviv – Przemyśl railway line .
