Steel Brothers (Addington) Limited was a New Zealand manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The Christchurch-based company acquired the rights and designs for the fourth series Lotus Seven from Lotus Cars in 1973 . This is how the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Lotus . Production ended in 1975 or 1981.

The original chassis has been reinforced. He weighed 9 kg more than before. First, a driving four-cylinder engine from Ford with 1,558 cc displacement to the vehicles. More than 100 vehicles were made from this model.

This was followed by the 907 , which presumably received an engine from Vauxhall Motors .
