Torino Motors Limited was a New Zealand manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The Auckland-based company built various brands of vehicles for the domestic market. In 1973 the production of an independent model began. The brand name was Fiat . Its production ended in the same year.

The only independent model was the Fiat 125 T , intended for car racing. It was based on the Fiat 125 . The engine with a special cylinder head , camshaft and carburetor was the most powerful four-cylinder engine from a New Zealand manufacturer. The body of the four-door sedan was 5 cm lower than the original. The fuel tank was bigger and the trunk volume smaller.
