Stefan Döring (Author)
Stefan Döring (born April 7, 1954 in Oranienburg ) is a German writer , poet and translator . The poetry of the Berlin-based artist is characterized by rigor in the composition and mask-like in the messages.
life and work
After graduating from high school in 1972 and serving in the NVA, Döring studied information technology at the TU Dresden from 1974–78. After completing his studies, he worked as a development engineer for medical electronics in Hohenneuendorf and has been working as a freelance author and translator since 1980 ( blurb for the volume today yesterday, 1989). After 1990 with Bert Papenfuß-Gorek a . a. Co-editor and author of the Berlin magazine SKLAVEN . Stefan Döring primarily writes poetry. In addition, he transmits poems from the American, English and Russian languages. He is considered one of the most original representatives of the GDR - underground literature of the 1980s. He is the editor of GEGNER magazine . Stefan Döring lives in Berlin.
