Stefan Mugoša (born February 26, 1992 in Titograd , SFR Yugoslavia (now Podgorica, Montenegro )) is a Montenegrin football player .
Career
In the club
Mugoša played from the 2009/10 season in the senior team of Budućnost Podgorica. In 2012 he won the Montenegrin Championship with Budućnost and the Cup in 2013. In the same year he moved to local rivals FK Mladost Podgorica .
In the 2013-14 season he was the top scorer in the Montenegrin league. For the 2014/15 season he moved to the German second division club 1. FC Kaiserslautern . He played his first competitive game for Lauterer on August 16, 2014 in the DFB Cup against SV Wehen Wiesbaden . In the penalty shoot-out , which Kaiserslautern won, he converted a penalty.
For the second half of the season he was awarded to league rivals FC Erzgebirge Aue . There he became a regular player, but could not avert relegation.
In mid-August 2015, Mugoša switched to second division competitor TSV 1860 Munich , where he signed a three-year contract. For the second half of the 2016/17 season Mugoša was awarded to the Karlsruher SC . In the 1-1 away game against VfL Bochum on matchday 19, Mugoša came on for Dimitris Diamantakos for his first appearance at KSC. In the same game he also scored his first goal for the intermittent 1-0 lead. With the KSC Mugoša rose in the 3rd division and was not signed up. Since TSV 1860 was also relegated from the 2nd Bundesliga and did not receive the license for the 3rd division, his contract was no longer valid.
For the 2017 season , Mugoša joined the Moldovan champion Sheriff Tiraspol . At the beginning of 2018 he moved to Asia . Here he signed a contract with Incheon United in South Korea . The football franchise from Incheon played in the highest league in the country, the K League 1 Home .
National team
He played his first international match for Montenegro on June 8, 2015 in a friendly against Denmark . He scored his first international goal on March 26, 2017 in the qualifier for the 2018 World Cup in a 2-1 draw against Poland.
