Stefan Ziller (born May 23, 1981 in Berlin ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ). He was a member of the Berlin House of Representatives from 2006 to 2011 and has been again since May 2016.

Life

Stefan Ziller grew up in Biesdorf . In 2000 he passed his Abitur and then completed his community service . From 2001 he studied computer science at the Humboldt University in Berlin and the University of Potsdam . He graduated with a diploma in 2011.

politics

Stefan Ziller joined the Greens and the Green Youth Berlin in 2000 . In 2005 he was the spokesman for the Berlin State Association of Green Youth. On November 20, 2006 Ziller moved to the Berlin House of Representatives for Sibyll-Anka Klotz , who left the House of Representatives on November 17, 2006 . His thematic responsibility was nature conservation . Furthermore, he dealt with basic social security, in particular the unconditional basic income, as well as education and peace policy . He was a member of the Petitions Committee , the Committee on Urban Development and Transport, and the Committee on Administrative Reform , Communication and Information Technology. Ziller missed the re-entry into the House of Representatives in the state election on September 18, 2011 after he was elected to the less promising 32nd place on the list by his party.

Stefan Ziller was also a member of the Berlin Green Party Council from 2012 to 2014. In the 2013 federal election , he is running - as in 2005 and 2009 - in 6th place on the state list of the Berlin Greens. While he was defeated by Andreas Otto in the election for 4th place at the assembly meeting in February 2013 , he just won the vote for 6th place in the 4th ballot with 288 to 287 votes. However , he did not succeed in entering the German Bundestag .

Ziller has been a member of the Berlin House of Representatives again since May 12, 2016, when he replaced Oliver Schruoffeneger , who left.

Ziller is counted on the left wing of the party and worked for several MPs who are also counted on the left wing and others. a. Arfst Wagner and Hiltrud Breyer .
