Stefanie "Steffi" Dums (born April 20, 1974 - February 27, 2020 in Hauenstein ) was a German soccer player .

Career

Coming from the youth of FFV Fortuna Göcklingen at the age of 18 , Dums played in her entire career from 1993 to 2012, first with TuS 1900 Niederkirchen and later with the spin-off 1. FFC 08 Niederkirchen . She achieved her greatest success by winning the German championship in her first season in Niederkirchen with a 2-1 final victory over TSV Siegen and winning the Super Cup in Leverkusen .

After her career as a player, Dums was elected to the board of SC Hauenstein , but still played in the over-35 team of the FFC until the end. In June 2014 she married Heiko Magin, the then sports director of SC Hauenstein; Dums was also the club's youth leader at the time. She died of an aneurysm on February 27, 2020 at the age of 45 .
