Stefanie Roeger

Stefanie Roeger (born March 31, 1904 in Markdorf ; † February 22, 1992 in Heilbronn ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Life

After attending secondary school, Roeger completed an apprenticeship as a banker from 1922 to 1924. She reoriented herself professionally and completed her training as a nurse. She then worked as a nurse and operating room nurse for ten years. From 1942 to 1946 she worked as a secretary and clerk at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Stuttgart .

Roeger joined the Christian Democrats after the Second World War and had been a women's officer for the CDU North-Württemberg since 1946. In 1954 she was elected to the board of directors of the Federal Women's Committee and from 1958 to 1962 was a member of the board of directors of the CDU's Federal Women's Association . She belonged to the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg from September 10, 1963, when she replaced the resigned MP Adalbert Seifriz , until 1968. She represented a second mandate from the constituency of Stuttgart II, through which she was elected in the 1964 state elections . After leaving parliament, she worked as an advisor to the CDU parliamentary group.

Stefanie Roeger was the niece of the Württemberg center and CDU politician Luise Rist .
