Stefanie Trojan

Stefanie Trojan (* 1976 in Neu-Ulm ) is a German performance artist . She lives in Frankfurt am Main .

Life

Stefanie Trojan studied sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich from 1996 to 2003 with Heribert Sturm and Asta Gröting and the visiting professors Iris Häussler and Uli Aigner . She passed the first state examination in art education in 2000 and received her diploma as a master student from Asta Gröting in 2003.

Works

Her work consists exclusively of performances that are documented by photo or video. She deals with social patterns, habits and daily rituals. She develops her performances like social investigations and transfers them to the viewer. Only their reaction completes their work.
