Steinig is a residential area in the municipality of Werbach in the Main-Tauber district in northeast Baden-Württemberg .

The living space is located in the Steinig district of the same name about 500 meters after leaving Werbach in the direction of Niklashausen on the right edge of the Taubertal (right of the L 506 ) and in the direction of Böttigheim in the Werbach-Böttigheimer Tal (left of the K 2819 ). From the northeast to the northwest, the Limbachgraben coming from the direction of Böttigheim leads past Steinig, which crosses under the L 506 and shortly afterwards flows into the Tauber from the right in the Werbacher Tauberinsel area.
