Positions and quotes

On the ongoing discussion about the continued existence of all of the existing Landesbanks in Germany, Kaulvers spoke publicly in October 2009 in the Bremer Weser-Kurier (WK) . As the newspaper reported, Kaulvers is calling for “closer cooperation between the seven Landesbanks in Germany” and “resolutely rejecting a reduction in the number of Landesbanks to two to three institutes”. According to an agency report by the ddp news agency based on the WK report , he described "his institute as a 'Gallic village' within the banking scene":

“We don't do any business that we don't fully understand in terms of content and risk.”
Anyone who accuses him of doing boring business will say:
That's why we understand them. And that's why they're sustainable. Boring business is good business. "
