Stephan Gade

Stephan Gade (born March 4, 1970 in Hamburg ) is a German musician and composer for film music.

Life

Gade grew up under musically favorable circumstances. At the age of 10 he received guitar and piano lessons and performed as a bass guitarist in a band at the Helene-Lange-Gymnasium . After graduating from high school, he studied electronic music at the University of Music and Theater.

Since 1990 he has been a member of the indie rock band Bobo In White Wooden Houses . He has been composing his own songs since 2000 and works on a voluntary basis for the Hafenklangstudio .
