The 7th dwarf is a German computer animation film from 2014 with Otto Waalkes in the leading role. It is a continuation of the real films 7 dwarfs - men alone in the forest (2004) and 7 dwarfs - the forest is not enough (2006).
action
The 18th birthday of Princess Rose is celebrated at Fantabularasa Castle, because if she does not prick a sharp object by midnight, the curse of an evil ice fairy, which puts the whole kingdom into a hundred years of sleep, will not be effective. That is why the princess is equipped with bronze armor.
Everything goes according to plan, until the clumsy boy, the seventh dwarf, makes a big mistake and Dellamorta's curse takes hold. To free the princess from her forced sleep, a kiss of true love is required. The depressed dragon Burner helps the seven-man troop and takes on the search for the dream prince, who is the kitchen boy Jack. But he is severely punished by the ice fairy. She turns the dragon into an ice figure and takes Jack away with her. The dwarves follow her and Bubi sadly says goodbye to his friend Burner. He presses his warm little hand on Burner's heart. This activates his inner flame and he begins to thaw, which the dwarfs no longer notice because they have already rushed after Jack into the throne room of the Fantabularasa castle.
Bubi urges Jack to kiss Rose, who is sleeping here. But this is under a spell from Dellamorta and is only freed from this spell by Bubi when he operates Rose's music box and this song reminds Jack of his true love. Dellamorta is now trying by all means to prevent Jack from giving his beloved rose the redeeming kiss. She conjures up a huge and terrible figure of ice against which the little dwarfs can do nothing. Bubi accidentally discovers the magic potion that the farm tinkerer had prepared for her, but before he can give it to Jack, the ice fairy takes the bottle. The dwarfs want to give up, but suddenly Burner appears, who has now completely thawed again and, to everyone's delight, can finally breathe fire. With it, the ice monster melts on the spot. Against Dellamorta, however, the dragon's fire has no effect, because she hurls her ice rays against it.
Jack wants to "fight his way through" to Rose in all the tumult, but the ice fairy notices this and wants to use her deadly ice rays against the kitchen boy. Bubi wants to prevent that and brings a large mirror between the two opponents, not quite intentionally, but very effectively. As a result, the rays reflect back on Dellamorta and turn them into an ice figure. Now Jack can kiss Rose undisturbed and the whole castle and its inhabitants wake up from their forced sleep.

Reviews
The German film and media rating awarded the film the rating “valuable”. The TV magazine TV Spielfilm judged that the staging was "as bumpy as the sometimes inharmonic 3D effects" over long distances. The "secret hero of the story" is anyway the dragon Burny. The fact that the dwarfs “save his life with an astonishingly dreary song number” is “as questionable as the spelling of the film title”. Björn Becher wrote on Filmstarts.de that the film was the “largely unsuccessful attempt to turn a successful German series for comedy fans into a children's film tailored to an international market”. He is "a parade of dull musical interludes and infantile jokes".
