Anam (German: “ my mother ”) is the first feature film by the German-Turkish filmmaker Buket Alakuş from 2001. The strip was produced by Desert Film , which also made Fatih Akın's first films .

The film is about a Turkish cleaning lady in Germany who breaks out of her limited world with her colleagues after her son has slipped into the drug scene and takes care of the junkies around her child.
