Nursel Köse (* 1961 in Malatya , Turkey ) is a German-Turkish actress , author and cabaret artist .

Career

Nursel Köse came to Germany as a student. She is a qualified architect. Even during her studies she worked in various off-theater productions as a director, actress and cabaret artist. She also took over the project management of youth, children's and women's theater projects in Germany. In 1992 she founded “Die Bodenkosmetikerinnen”, the first foreign female cabaret in Germany. In this group she worked as a director, actress and copywriter and toured the country until 2007. Since the 2009 season she has played the leading role in the Turkish comedy “Bacemdeki Ayı” in Istanbul and commutes between Istanbul and Berlin.

Her first appearance on the big screen was in Hark Bohm's famous film Yasemin in 1988 . She played a leading role in Buket Alakuş 's award-winning film Anam (2001). This was followed by roles in the films "Savannah", " Kebab Connection " and " Another League ". She had guest roles a. a. in series such as “ Turkish for Beginners ”, “Die Familienanwältin”, “Section 40”, “Soko Köln”, and anyway in “ Tatort Hamburg” with Mehmet Kurtuluş . In 2007 she starred in Fatih Akın's feature film “ On the Other Side ”, which won the competitions of the 60th Cannes Film Festival and the “44th Cannes Film Festival ”. Nursel Köse writes radio plays that have been produced by the West German Broadcasting Corporation WDR, among others, such as "Die Ameisenfrau" (1997), "Der Schlangenbrunnen" (2000), "Der Verbanned Vogel" (2008) and her most recent work "Sürgün Kuşu" (2008 ). In the 1990s, the author published short stories and the volume of poetry "Der Liebe zum Despite".
