Stephan Johannes Richter (* 1967 ) is a German actor .

Life

From 1989 to 1993, Richter completed his acting training at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin . He then had permanent theater engagements at the Volksbühne Berlin (1993–1997), at the Staatstheater Hannover (1997–2000) and at the Hamburg Thalia Theater (2000–2004). In 2006 he had a guest engagement at the Volksbühne Berlin. In 2007 he took part in a theater production by the Landgraf touring theater . In the 2009/10 season he was engaged at the Deutsches Theater in Berlin.

In 1998 he played various roles at the Staatstheater Hannover (cousin / Indian / Legion candidate) in the world premiere of the play Adam Geist by Dea Loher ; Directed by Andreas Kriegenburg . He embodied u. a. in the role of the Indian, the lover of the main character Adam.

In the 2000/01 season he played the prostitute Nadja in Andreas Kriegensburg's production of Maxim Gorki's play Nachtasyl . He also played the role of Pasha in the play The Cry of the Elephant by Farid Nagim during this season ; with this production he also made a guest appearance at the Bregenz Festival in July 2001 . In the 2001/02 season he played the young courtier Spencer at the Thalia Theater in Martin Kušej's production of the play Edward II by Christopher Marlowe .

In the 2002/03 season he worked at the Thalia in Gaußstrasse in the world premiere of the play “ Driving in Germany” by Ulrike Syha . In the 2003/04 season he took on four different roles at the Thalia Theater, including: a. the role of the secret service agent John in the world premiere of the theater production We are Camera / Jasonmaterial by Fritz Kater , directed by Armin Petras . With this production he also made a guest appearance at the Berlin Festival in May 2004 . Richter also took part in the production's theatrical film made by Petras.

In the 2009/10 season he appeared at the Deutsches Theater Berlin as herald in Franz Grillparzer's play Das Goldene Vlies . In the 2010/11 season he worked at the Deutsches Theater Berlin in the Christmas production Das Wildpferd unterm Kachelofen by Christoph Hein .

Richter occasionally took part in film and television productions. In the crime scene: The Last Patient (2010) he played the police officer Sven Berner at the side of Maria Furtwängler . Richter also had episode roles in the television series SOKO Cologne (2008), Ein starkes Team (2010) and Notruf Hafenkante (2011). In February 2016 Richter was also seen in an episode role in the ZDF crime series SOKO Wismar ; he played the master hairdresser Bertram Körner.

Richter lives in Berlin .
