Stephan Schiffner

Stephan Schiffner (born August 19, 1968 in Bremen ) is a German journalist .

Career

Schiffner was born in Bremen and grew up in Berlin . After graduating from high school , he attended the Berlin journalist school from 1991 . He then worked as a freelance reporter at the SFB . After stints at ORB and a year in South America, he has been working for Radio Bremen since May 2002 as a reporter, moderator and editor. For six years he moderated the sports club on NDR television . Since 2003 he has been commenting on summaries of the Bundesliga games at the ARD Sportschau . In the ARD he's since 1998 as a story-maker and reporter for the German national football team on site.
