Stephanie Frühwirt (born July 22, 1980 in Wolfratshausen ) is a former German ice hockey player who played for many years in the women's Bundesliga and in the German national team. Internationally, she has played 185 games, scoring 42 goals and providing 18 assists. She has already won various German championship titles and took part in the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City and 2006 in Turin for Germany .

Career

Frühwirt's home club is the TV Kornwestheim . Before that she was activated at ESG Esslingen and TuS Geretsried . She tore a cruciate ligament in the summer of 2004 and was out for the rest of the year. In spring 2006, she retired from the national team. At the beginning of the 2007/08 season, she moved within the Bundesliga to OSC Berlin , where she ended her career in the summer of 2010 due to a knee injury.

During the summer months she played inline skate hockey on various teams .
