NFL

New Orleans Saints

In the NFL Draft 2015 he was selected in the 1st round as the 31st player by the New Orleans Saints . Anthony was able to establish himself immediately and already played all games as a starter in his rookie season . Although the Saints 2015, like the previous season, had the worst defense in the entire league, the season was quite successful for him personally. Not only did he have over 100 tackles , but he even scored a defensive touchdown in the game against the Carolina Panthers . In the same game he was able to conquer the ball blocked by Kevin Williams in an extra point attempt by the opponent and carry it into the opponent's end zone for two points. Anthony was the first player ever to achieve this point gain, which was only made possible in the NFL by a rule change in 2015.

Miami Dolphins

After the second day of the 2017 season , the Saints swapped Anthony for a pick in the 2018 draft for the Miami Dolphins . After two only moderately successful seasons, his contract was not renewed.

Atlanta Falcons

In July 2019, Anthony was signed by the Atlanta Falcons , but released after just under a month.

New York Jets

Only a few days later, the New York Jets signed him , but this engagement only lasted a few days.

Return to the New Orleans Saints

After several injury-related failures in the linebacker kotps of the Saints, they signed Anthony again.
