A rally describes an event in which participants come from different directions to meet at an event location.

A well-known rally is the bicycle rally, which has been taking place in Berlin and Brandenburg since 1977, with a final rally in Berlin on Strasse des 17. Juni . It is organized by the ADFC Berlin eV and takes place on the occasion of World Environment Day. The traditional Monte Carlo Rally , part of the World Rally Championship , was started as a rally in the first seven decades of its existence. The term rally is derived from this.

There is also the bicycle rally in Hamburg, Lower Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein, which mostly meets in Hamburg at the Dammtor train station , and one of the highlights is the crossing of the Köhlbrand Bridge in the port of Hamburg, which is specially closed to car traffic .
