Stetten is a district of Engen in the Baden-Württemberg district of Konstanz . The once independent place was incorporated into Engen on January 1st, 1975. Until December 31, 1972, Stetten was part of the Donaueschingen district .

Location and transport links

Stetten is located northwest of the core town of Engen on the district roads K 6129 and K 6130. The A 81 runs north .

To the north of the village are the ruins of Neuhewen Castle (also known as Neuhöwen Castle and popularly known as the Stettener Schlößle ). The hilltop castle on the Neuhewen ( 867.2 m above sea level ) was built in the middle of the 13th century by the Lords of Engen (Hewen).
