reception

Thomas Kupfer wrote for Rock Hard that it was certain that WEA Records was "doing the best when it came to promoting German talent". Still Wants More is “an album that offers melodic rock at its best” and “easily lives up to international standards”. You can tell that "the quintet is a band that has grown over the years", the songs seemed too "mature (but still sparkling)" for one to conclude that it was a "lovelessly thrown together test tube project". The song material offers "aggressive (!) Guitars, a grooving rhythm section and singer Mac," whose voice reminds "in phases of Vic Wright, the former Tokyo Blade singer or old Jaguar numbers". With the song material, the band covers a “stylistic spectrum that ranges from pounding ( Slow'n'Easy ) to ballad-like ( Don't You Know ) to lively melodic rockers ( Me , Do You Remember , Love On The Run )” . The "massive production" does the rest to catapult the quintet "to the top of the national hard rock movement, in the Pink Cream 69, Casanova category, for example" ... Sargant Fury is a newcomer who has shown that “melodic hard rock cannot always be equated with clichés”. These youngsters would become young stars “in the foreseeable future”.
