Stojewsko is a village with a Schulzenamt of the rural municipality Krasocin in the powiat Włoszczowski of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship in Poland . It is located 16 km northeast of the city of Włoszczowa .

history

In the first half of the 19th century the Krasocin and Gruszczyn estates belonged to W. Dobiecki, who settled German colonists there. But in the mid-1840s, most of them emigrated from Wojciechów, Lipia Góra and Podlesie. From June 1850, these goods belonged to the married couple Hipolit and Karolina Stojowski. They probably settled between 20 and 25 German Evangelical families in the new Stojewo colony named after them in the early 1860s . Along with Antonielów, Stojewo became a center for German farmers between the Pilica in the west and Kielce , the seat of the Evangelical Augsburg community, in the east. In 1864 a total of 94 Lutherans lived in the area.

After the end of the First World War , Stojewsko came to Poland. In 1921 Strojewsko (sic!) In the municipality of Krasocin in the Powiat Włoszczowski of the Kielce Voivodeship had 31 houses with 211 inhabitants, of which all declared themselves Poles, except for 49 Catholics, there were 151 Lutherans (there were also Polish Protestants living in the municipality, among others in Karolinów - 70, Występy - 51, Wojciechów - 21) and 11 Jews. However, along with Antonielów, Skałka Niemiecka, Przeczów and Godów , Stojewsko was one of those places in the interwar period where the residents often knew little of the Polish language.

During the Second World War it belonged to the Radom district in the Generalgouvernement . From 1975 to 1998 Stojewsko was part of the Kielce Voivodeship .
