The street ditch is a creek about 0.7 km long in the Main-Tauber district in the north of Baden-Württemberg , which flows into the Reißberggraben near Dittwar before it flows into the Ölbach in Dittwar .

The ditch is created northwest of the outskirts of Dittwar, a district of Tauberbischofsheim , and runs towards the place, where it first crosses under a farm road and then flows into the Reissberg ditch from the left.

Geology and natural spaces

The catchment area is in the Tauberland natural area , which is characterized by the shell limestone .

history

On Corpus Christi Day , June 21, 1984, heavy rain led to a flood catastrophe in the valleys of the Ölbach and its tributaries as well as in some neighboring waters. Dittwar and the surrounding communities were affected. There was damage of around 90 million German marks .
